The terms «famous» and «left-hander» are both subjective judgments. For this page, «famous» means that someone steeped in American culture will recognize most of these names, and «left-handed» is a loose common classification meaning to write with and/or use the left hand for manual tasks. William Bradford Bishop, Jr.William Bradford Bishop, Jr. Seemed like your typical family man.
He had three sons, a lovely wife, and was an avid sportsman. In the spring of 1976, however, that all changed. Bishop beat his wife, three sons and mother to death, buried the bodies somewhere out of town, and lit the corpses on fire in a shoddy attempt to conceal.
He is still on the run to this day, and the FBI is offering a $100,000 reward for any information leading to his arrest. The Gilgo Beach KillerOriginally working out of Long Island, NY, this killer sought out and killed prostitutes advertising their 'services' on Craigslist. Police didn't initially know about this serial killer's existence; they accidentally discovered this killer when investigating the case of. They found 10 bodies during their investigation, which lasted into 2011. Experts believe this mysterious killer simply left town once the media began talking about the murders. In a cruel twist of fate, Shannan's mother Mari was also murdered, but by Shannan's sister, Sarra. The Jeff Davis Eight KillerIn May of 2005, eight women were killed just outside of Jennings, LA, a tiny town of about 10,000 residents.
Their bodies were dumped in a local canal, where they were later. The victims all had one thing in common: they were prostitutes. Part of why this case has not been solved is due to corruption at the local police department, and families are rightfully angry. In fact, it is even theorized that these women were not killed by the same killer, but by multiple killers, though the police department insists that one person killed these women.
Because of this murkiness, the truth may be shrouded in mystery forever. The Frankford SlasherThe Frankford Slasher case has captured the minds of both professional and amateur sleuths for decades. Police arrested and tried a suspect, Leonard Christopher, in 1990, but two major facts point away from him as the killer. The first fact is that witnesses say the killer was white and the second fact is that, another murder matching one of the Frankford Slasher's took place. After that, the killings ended. The DoodlerDespite the ridiculous name, was notoriously cunning and manipulative. In the 1970s, long before it was even remotely permissible to declare yourself as openly gay, The Doodler showed up at gay bars, offering to draw people.
He would use this to gain their trust and then, quite literally, stab them in the back after getting them alone. As many as 14 men were killed, and three survived, but none of the survivors ever came forward to tell their stories. This may be due to the fact that one survivor was a diplomat and the other a well-known entertainer, fearing the ruination of their careers. The Serial Street ShooterOne of the most wanted serial killers in Arizona is a person known only as the Serial Street Shooter. From March to July of 2016, the killed seven people and wounded three others, terrorizing the city of Maryvale, AZ.
The shooter's identity, motive, and even vehicle are all a complete mystery. If you have any information about this crime, authorities are offering a $30,000 reward for information.
The Smiley Face KillerThis case is an interesting one because the Smiley Face Killer may be rather than one person. In any case, all 40 victims, who died between 1997 and 2002, have the same things in common. They were all white male college students who got heavily drunk. All of these victims were also drowned, and a smiley face was painted on a wall or object near the scene of the murder. Some organizations question whether these deaths are all one gruesome coincidence, but the truth is mired in mystery to this day. Pedro LopezPedro Lopez of Colombia is one of the most prolific serial killers with more than 300 victims to his name. His punishment?
A mere 14 years in jail, deportation, institutionalization and then freedom. That's right – despite being jailed for these murders, Lopez walks free. Even after all of this, Lopez is suspected of still being active, as it is thought he is connected to a murder carried out in 2002. Lopez's whereabouts are currently unknown. The Gage Park KillerOn a cold February day, six people were discovered dead in their Chicago home after a concerned relative requested the police perform a wellness check on the family's residence.

I'm left-handed.I was in a gifted program from the 2nd grade up until now where I am a junior in college and a part of my college's HonorsProgram. I'm pretty much the most intelligent person in my family, but that's like saying I'm the tallest munchkin in the Wizard of Oz, itdoesn't hold much water. The reason that I am so smart though isn't because I know a lot of things, it's because I ask a lot of question, which isprobably the reason that I enjoy the ATS/BTS boards so much.
If there is one thing that I absolutely hate, it is not knowing something that I think Ishould know. My intelligence scale isn't really anything extraordinary, but it's not anything that's horrible either. I think my IQ is around 153or something, and I scored a 29 on the ACT before I stopped taking it, because that was good enough to get me into college. My personal belief isthat stanardized tests are a load of crapola, because I am obviously not that intelligent. Also, I believe that grades are simply letters and numberswhile we are in school, and nothing more.
A degree is a piece of paper, which you can laminate if you so desire, meaning that you took enough coursesin a particular area so you can get a picture frame to put a piece of paper in saying 'Good Job'.Real intelligence comes from within, if I've learned one thing in my 20 years on this planet, it is that. If you say that you are smart, then morethan likely you really aren't. Now, I realize that someone will be wanting to say something to me on this one, because I did make a comment about myintelligence; however, I also made several stating that there is so much more that I need to learn. Please do not link me to Socrates on this thought, because he was quite arrogant. So was Seneca. How can you be humble if you keep telling peopleyou are? I make good grades, but that doesn't make me intelligent. I'm in the Honors Program at the college level, but that doesn't make meintelligent.
I know that there are more things out there in the world that I need to learn about, and that my friends is what makes me intelligent. It isn't the fact that I know things, it is the will that I have to learn new things. However, since I am left-handed, apparently that makes me a serial killer? Honestly, I am fascinated by serial killers, especially Jack-the-Ripper.Mainly because he was left-handed, and the lefties just didn't get any respect when I was in school. I was 19 years old before I finally sat down ina left-handed desk (minus that time I took the ACT at a different high school when I was like 16).
I wrote letters to the school board in middle andhigh school asking why we couldn't have left-handed desks. They never replied to me with actual answers, just that the demand wasn't high enough. That is probably the same reason that I didn't do too well in arts and crafts back in kindergarten (sp?see, not that smart am I?) with thoseright-handed scissors (Mr. Burns was right.) that I had to use. However, I am great at 'marth' too, because I can add numbers good (yes,'good', because 'well' is something with water in it, but so is 'whale', don't you just love the English language?).Here is an interesting tidbit about me that hardly anyone knows.
As well (okay, so I used 'well' instead of 'good', so what if I'm a hypocrite,so is everyone else) as I have done in school, I didn't learn to tie my shoes until I was 7-years old.the last person in my grade to do so. My husband is left handle and he is is quite normal at least so far. When my son started to used his hands he leaned into the use of the left so I help him get his use of the right hand better, so he is now righthanded.I got the believe that if you take a child and show him the use of his left hand instead of the right he will become a left handed person and viceversa.I didn't let my son become left handed and I did not have any problem so far he is 18 so I would have known by now if something was wrong. ), my parents never had time to teach me to read. My mom was an at home mom who wastaking care of my 2-year younger brother and my cousin whose 6 months older than my brother (his mom was going to college at the time). My dad was atwork (same job was now, except we lived far from it at the time. It's a one and a half hour drive from where we used to live).ANYWAY, no one had time set aside to help me. AMAZINGLY (according to family), I apparently learned myself to read.
They said that one day, I pickedup a grocery store flyer and started to sound out the words. Eventually, they think I taught myself. I have no recollection of any of that.
And itmakes me feel pretty good about myself.THAT has been the only outstanding event of the learning part of myself. I've always been a strong reader, and even my teachers picked up on it inthe younger grades.I GUESS it's possible that I did so. That's the only amazing thing I know about and that has been done so far in my life as a lefty.STAY COOL)-prophetmike. Which hand is dominant doesnt discern whatsoever which side of the brain is. There's plenty of right brained rightys and left brained lefties.
Thedistinction is mostly just learned but who knows there may be some small genetic factors involved. Genetic traits often have multiple manifestations,so the 'serial killer gene' could in all reality also effect which limb is more familiar, as well as how much armpit hair there is or how big thepinkie toenail gets (remember tho that character genes are largely manipulated by the environment, so having the gene never predestines the persontowards a specific lifestyle).Me, I am a righty, was in the gifted classes since the earliest I can remember in school, and can't do crap with my left hand unless I've trained itto perform the task through repitition. What I'm about to post isn't proven fact, but theory, so don't assume it's all correct. At the University of Pennsylvania (this info is from some time ago) researchers claimed they could identify distinctly two types of left handedpeople.
